Last updated: September 24, 2026

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller for this website (desktopdraw.com) and the DesktopDraw software is DesktopDraw, based in Spain.

Contact for any privacy matter: info@desktopdraw.com or our Support & Contact page.

We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights (LOPDGDD).

2. What data we collect

  • Contact and support messages: your name, email address, the topic you choose and the content of your message.
  • Reviews: your star rating, your review text, your email address and, if you choose to provide them, your name and social media channel. Your name, rating, social channel and review are shown publicly on the website; your email address is never published.
  • Purchases: when you buy a license, payment is processed by Stripe or PayPal. We receive your name, email address, country, the product purchased and transaction details needed to deliver and support your license. We never receive or store your full card or bank details.
  • Technical data: like any website, our hosting servers automatically record technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the service running.
  • Language preference: the language you choose, or the language of your browser if you accept preference cookies. When the site is translated, page text is sent to Google Translate.
  • Usage statistics (only with your consent): anonymous information about visits and pages viewed, collected with a self-hosted statistics tool.

We only collect the data we need. Fields marked as optional can be left empty.

After these periods, data is deleted or anonymised.

5. Who we share your data with

We only share data with service providers that help us run DesktopDraw, under data processing agreements, and only as far as necessary:

  • Hostinger — website hosting and email services.
  • Stripe — card payment processing.
  • PayPal — payment processing (through Stripe).
  • YouTube (Google) — plays the product video, only after you click on it (privacy-enhanced mode).
  • Google — automatic website translation (Google Translate), only when you select another language or accept preference cookies.

Stripe and PayPal process payment data as independent controllers under their own privacy policies. We may also disclose data when required by law or by a competent authority.

6. International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In those cases, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision (for example, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework).

7. Your rights

You can exercise the following rights at any time, free of charge:

  • Access — know what data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your data.
  • Restriction and objection to certain processing.
  • Portability — receive your data in a common format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing.

To exercise them, email info@desktopdraw.com indicating the right you want to exercise. We may ask you to verify your identity. We will respond within one month.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es).
